Over the next six weeks you will be exposed to the basics of acting, which includes learning how to use your body, voice, and impressions to present a character. Each participant will get out of this workshop what they put into it. Our philosophy for teaching acting is that it should be fun, and that Actors learn best by doing. This means that you will be involved in learning to perform from day one.
Part of the workshop will involve you observing and participating in various acting exercises, and each participant will be given home assignments. Acting is hard work and in some cases physical work, and we expect each participant to engage fully in the art of acting. If for any reason you have health or physical issues that prevent you from doing strenuous exercises, please let us know so that we can modify your program accordingly.
