The AmaZing Theatre Company, formally the Heralds of Hope Theater Company, has received partial support from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) to participate in the Wheaton Cultural Arts Project. The project is designed to highlight the Wheaton Arts and Entertainment district as a destination for social and cultural events. The festival is "free" and will take place on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. The plays will be presented virtually and in person at the Wheaton Library (Social Hall), 11701 Georgia Avenue, Wheaton, Maryland 20902. Our goal is to reach the largest possible audiences and all ethnic groups; particularly the participation of Asian, Hispanic/Latinx, Black/African Americans, Native Americans, and Arab theater companies or individuals.
AmaZing Theatre Company is also happy to announce that this year, in addition to producing the plays selected live and virtually, the Theatre will be awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners a monetary prize.
